36. @ 11:45 am
I don't have a lot of time to spare and it's not like a lot of people are going to read this, but I just feel like ranting about everything that's happening around me now. Though this blog's not private, I guess it's my best source of relief since writing in a non-living diary isn't going to make me feel any better and my handwriting won't be perfect which will just make me feel even more uncomfortable.
I decided to try blogging instinctively (although I actually planned this post a little beforehand). Daddy and Mummy are away at Penang for a Spa & Resort trip which sounds fairly interesting but I didn't want to give the Hillsong concert and Sunday service a miss so I rejected the invitation to go with them. My mum seemed really excited; I hope they're enjoying themselves thoroughly now (:

Hillsong was really fun! I left my house a little late (9.15am) and bus 58 took like 10,000 hours to reach so I only left for Bishan MRT at around 9.25am to meet Anna on the train at Cityhall. What a pleasant surprise (: So Anna and I reached Expo MRT a little after 10am and found Jeremiah and Sebastian waiting for us at 7-Eleven. They didn't bring any bags so I was kind of flustered because we couldn't reserve space in the queue but they just kept saying that there was no one outside Max Pavilion and all. So Anna and I bought food from 7-Eleven and the four of us trooped to our destination to discover, to our (my) horror, that we were third in the queue ):
I survived. We tried to entertain ourselves by playing with poker cards (BlackJack and Dai Di) but we stopped halfway because the guys had to help out with carrying some heavy stuff inside and I became sad because I could actually win the game.

An attempt to smile with my teeth, and I must say, I don't look too bad.
After a while, Anna and I decided to go walk because we were really bored and we passed by food so we stopped to eat. Holey and Joletta joined us there when we received a call from the guys saying that the doors to the holding room had opened. So I got worried again because I didn't have my ticket with me and asked Jeremiah to bring my bag out (teehee), entered the hall and calmed down.

Played around while waiting for the doors to open. Had an early dinner at 4pm too. Peixian bought us fries! I feel so bad.
Pre-service was really entertaining (: Doors opened at 5.45pm and we all rushed in. I was desperate for front seats, yo. My experience of concerts are quite strange. I was standing in front of these two weird guys last year at Planetshakers, and this year, sitting next to us were two bitch crews. Sigh.
It was fun, anyhow. Praise & Worship was awesome! Wished they played more songs, though. After the concert, Agape and ArrowDynamic headed to Changi Airport to take a bite for supper. It is freaky to rush for the last train and I am never going to attempt doing that again. I want a MacBook!
After the concert and wearing m)phosis slippers, my feet hurt really badly. But this is what you get for trying to break them in (my left foot is swollen):
Sunday, 25 May 2008Met Anna at 11.30am plus (we actually planned to meet at 10am but I took so long to prepare myself that we had to drag the time) to get a gift for the guys for being absolutely sweet during the concert. They actually gave up their seats with us to sit further from the stage because we already didn't have enough space ): And, they reached Expo way earlier than us. We got them sweets from Candy Empire and Minitoons (those that they had given to us before) and a card. Haha, I wonder who kept it (:
We helped them reserve seats in the main auditorium too! That's just our way of saying thank you.
Tomorrow's going to be a busy day, what with school activities and CIP. *Mumblemumblepfft* But there's Tuesday, 3 June 2008 to look forward to, when I'm going to the dentist to check for braces! Seriously, they're the greatest invention: everyone looks good in them. Then there's Engage! '08. I believe God has something wonderful in store for me during the camp, really (:
I wonder why people blog emotional posts sometimes. I shall try a paragraph:
That scene keeps replaying in my mind; it was too surprising, there was that expectant feeling -
I miss you so.
Much. And sometimes, when the posts seem too fake, I laugh my ass off.
