Yup!

My glasses tilting to one side ):

Everytime - Simple Plan

It was 3am when you woke me up
And we jumped in the car and drove as far as we could go
Just to get away
We talked about our lives
Until the sun came up
And now I'm thinking about
How I wish I could go back
Just for one more day
One more day with you

Everytime I see your face
Everytime you look my way
It's like it all falls into place
Everything feels right
Ever since you walked away
You left my life in disarray
All I want is one more day
It's all I need: one more day with you

When the car broke down
We just kept walkin' along
'Til we hit this town
There was nothing there at all
But that was all okay
We spent all our money on stupid things
But if I looked back now, I'd probably give it all away
Just for one more day
One more day with you

Everytime I see your face
Everytime you look my way
It's like it all falls into place
Everything feels right
But ever since you walked away
You left my life in disarray
All I want is one more day
It's all I need: one more day with you

Now I'm sittin' here, like we used to do
I think about my life and how there's nothing I won't do
Just for one more day
One more day with you

Everytime I see your face
Everytime you look my way
It's like it all falls into place
Everything feels right (Everything feels right)
Everytime I hear your name
Everytime I feel the same
It's like it all falls into place
Everything, everything feels right

You walked away
Just one more day
It's all I need: one more day with you

I just realised that song lyrics are like poems, so when I post song lyrics, I'm not exactly just posting song lyrics, but I'm posting poems too (:

I'll add her someday.

Rahrah is a messy, messy, messy girl and she cannot eat sundaes properly because she'll drop rice crispies into your glass of water, then suggest taking a picture of it, putting it as her MSN display picture and claiming that you are instead the messy, messy, messy girl. Naughty.

I'm so obsessed it's scary ):

I don't have a lot of time to spare and it's not like a lot of people are going to read this, but I just feel like ranting about everything that's happening around me now. Though this blog's not private, I guess it's my best source of relief since writing in a non-living diary isn't going to make me feel any better and my handwriting won't be perfect which will just make me feel even more uncomfortable.

I decided to try blogging instinctively (although I actually planned this post a little beforehand). Daddy and Mummy are away at Penang for a Spa & Resort trip which sounds fairly interesting but I didn't want to give the Hillsong concert and Sunday service a miss so I rejected the invitation to go with them. My mum seemed really excited; I hope they're enjoying themselves thoroughly now (:

Saturday, 24 May 2008

Hillsong was really fun! I left my house a little late (9.15am) and bus 58 took like 10,000 hours to reach so I only left for Bishan MRT at around 9.25am to meet Anna on the train at Cityhall. What a pleasant surprise (: So Anna and I reached Expo MRT a little after 10am and found Jeremiah and Sebastian waiting for us at 7-Eleven. They didn't bring any bags so I was kind of flustered because we couldn't reserve space in the queue but they just kept saying that there was no one outside Max Pavilion and all. So Anna and I bought food from 7-Eleven and the four of us trooped to our destination to discover, to our (my) horror, that we were third in the queue ):

I survived. We tried to entertain ourselves by playing with poker cards (BlackJack and Dai Di) but we stopped halfway because the guys had to help out with carrying some heavy stuff inside and I became sad because I could actually win the game.

An attempt to smile with my teeth, and I must say, I don't look too bad.

After a while, Anna and I decided to go walk because we were really bored and we passed by food so we stopped to eat. Holey and Joletta joined us there when we received a call from the guys saying that the doors to the holding room had opened. So I got worried again because I didn't have my ticket with me and asked Jeremiah to bring my bag out (teehee), entered the hall and calmed down.

Played around while waiting for the doors to open. Had an early dinner at 4pm too. Peixian bought us fries! I feel so bad.

Pre-service was really entertaining (: Doors opened at 5.45pm and we all rushed in. I was desperate for front seats, yo. My experience of concerts are quite strange. I was standing in front of these two weird guys last year at Planetshakers, and this year, sitting next to us were two bitch crews. Sigh.

It was fun, anyhow. Praise & Worship was awesome! Wished they played more songs, though. After the concert, Agape and ArrowDynamic headed to Changi Airport to take a bite for supper. It is freaky to rush for the last train and I am never going to attempt doing that again. I want a MacBook!

After the concert and wearing m)phosis slippers, my feet hurt really badly. But this is what you get for trying to break them in (my left foot is swollen):

Sunday, 25 May 2008

Met Anna at 11.30am plus (we actually planned to meet at 10am but I took so long to prepare myself that we had to drag the time) to get a gift for the guys for being absolutely sweet during the concert. They actually gave up their seats with us to sit further from the stage because we already didn't have enough space ): And, they reached Expo way earlier than us. We got them sweets from Candy Empire and Minitoons (those that they had given to us before) and a card. Haha, I wonder who kept it (:

We helped them reserve seats in the main auditorium too! That's just our way of saying thank you.

Tomorrow's going to be a busy day, what with school activities and CIP. *Mumblemumblepfft* But there's Tuesday, 3 June 2008 to look forward to, when I'm going to the dentist to check for braces! Seriously, they're the greatest invention: everyone looks good in them. Then there's Engage! '08. I believe God has something wonderful in store for me during the camp, really (:

I wonder why people blog emotional posts sometimes. I shall try a paragraph:

That scene keeps replaying in my mind; it was too surprising, there was that expectant feeling -
I miss you so.
Much.

And sometimes, when the posts seem too fake, I laugh my ass off.

You Are My All In All

You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all

Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up, I'd be a fool
You are my all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name

Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising again, I bless Your name
You are my all in all

When I fall down, You pick me up
When I am dry, You fill my cup
You are my all in all

Anna: I quarrel so much with him, but you hardly talk to her at all!

Don't Call Me Baby - Madison Avenue

You and me, we have an opportunity
And we could make it something really cool
But you, you think I'm not that kind of girl
I'm here to tell you baby, I know how to rock your world

Don't think that I'm not strong
I'm the one to take you on
Don't underestimate me boy
I'll make you sorry you were born
You don't know me
The way you really should
You sure misunderstood

Don't call me baby
You got some nerve, and baby that'll never do
You know I don't belong to you
It's time you knew I'm not your baby
I belong to me, so
Don't call me baby

Behind my smile is my IQ
I must admit, this does not sit, with the likes of you
You're really sweet
Mmm, you're really nice
But didn't mama ever tell you not to play with fire?

Oh dang, my blog is being bored by consecutive posts of lyrics.

I miss her already.

Rejoice O Israel - New Creation Church

I behold a city on a hill
A nation torn by war
But in that place Adonai says
His grace has been poured forth

I behold a people who
Are waiting for their Lord
For He will come with trumpet sounds
As nations watch in awe

Shalom Jerusalem
Messiah will come
He'll wipe away your tears and pain
Rejoice, daughter of Zion
Shalom Jerusalem
Peace be within your walls
Yeshua will return to reign
In majesty and pow'r

When we see the Son of God
Descending from the clouds
He'll be arrayed in light
Shining glorious and bright
On you, Jerusalem

He'll wipe away your tears and pain
Rejoice O Israel

My memory kind of slipped so I somewhat forgot what I wanted to type here, but I really thank God that I didn't get chosen into the Stanford Writing Programme because hearing about how much work I'd have to complete if I did just makes me sick.

I can't wait for later.

Wanna know something?

Just thought that I should post to liven up my blog (at least a little).

Trimmed my hair; I am now unrecognisable. Pfft.
